Level 3 Security Training Texas
Commission (Armed) Security Officer Course
Our Level III Commission Security Training course provides the required instruction for individuals seeking to become commissioned (armed) security officers in Texas.
This course is structured to exceed Texas Department of Public Safety requirements and deliver practical, real-world training.
Students must have completed Level II Non-Commission training prior to obtaining a Level III license. If needed, both courses can be completed through TCTA.
“I took their Lv 2, Lv 3 Security Officer courses. I had a great time, and legitimately looked forward to coming to the class each morning. Glenn is passionate about this field and that shows in his work ethic, and zeal for the material. I definitely plan to return to TCTA for continued training.” -Paul Bartlett
Course Structure – Online and In-Person:

Students are provided access to course materials to review prior to attending in-person training. This allows a significant portion of the course to be completed outside the classroom.
