Security Training in Texas

Texas Certified Tactical Academy (TCTA) is approved and fully licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety-Regulatory Services Division. Our core classes meet and exceed the States’ requirements of instruction for licensing of security professionals in the state of Texas. Our course certificates are accepted by the state of Texas and with every licensed private security agency in the state.

Course enrollment is only done online (not over the phone), and through our enrollment form (found on this site). Please check the schedule, check pricing, and send in an enrollment form. Please then give us 24-48 hours to respond back and get you taken care of (not including weekends or holidays). Once you send in a form, we will respond with an online invoice for you to pay. Once that is paid, you will be sent a welcome email/payment confirmation with additional information (within 24-48 hours). Please understand that this is not a Federal / State funded or Public School, but that this is a Private Business (Private School), and as such, we have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including any conflict of interest, any safety concerns, health concerns, or any irrational, disruptive, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior towards other students or staff members.

Mailing Address only:

2541 South IH-35 #200
Round Rock, Texas 78664

No classes are held here at all, so please do not drive to this location. All classroom/range locations will be provided in your welcome email; but it all starts with you sending in a form, followed by a prompt payment. Our main classroom is in Pflugerville, Texas 78660 if you need ballpark locations.

We utilize several different ranges and classroom locations depending on the size and logistics of a certain class. Because of this, we require that all students make contact with TCTA prior (via our enrollment form), to book your spot pay, and receive instructions/directions prior; we do not consult, book, or take payments over the phone. Why do we want you to use the enrollment form instead of a call or pop-visit? Because we need you to agree to our terms and conditions as a first step in doing business with our company. Please understand TCTA is in business to sell courses, and we have made a very straight forward, (and hands off) process to sign up and pay for those courses: (1) Check the schedule, (2) Check pricing page, (3) Fill out the Enrollment form, (4) Pay the fee once we send you an online invoice, (5) Receive a confirmation and welcome email back (6) Show up to class and/or begin the online course  (depending on the class). We request that all students do NOT show up unscheduled to any class and do not send any type of payment to us through the mail (check or money order). All class fees must be paid in advance and through our online process- not Cashapp or any other method that the student or customer is trying to impose on us. Everyone pays up front (even companies and government agencies), as we do not agree to provide training then wait for a check/payment 30 days later from an employer or agency.  After paying, we will send you the confirmation within 24-48 hours (not including weekends) of you making a payment. If you are running late or cannot come, then please send us an email (which is on your invoice and welcome email)- and we will respond back via email to address your issue and get you taken care of.

Note: Even with this information posted, we still have students that do not pay in advance, do not fill out an enrollment form, demand a phone call, drive to our mailing address (against our guidance), and become frustrated with this business. We have a very smooth process to take a class, we just ask that all customers/students/employer please follow our process.

Thank you.
